Optimalizace procesu čištění odpadních vod ze spalovny odpadů

Abstract

This thesis compares and evaluates the effectiveness of selected reagents in treating wastewater generated primarily during the wet scrubbing of flue gases from a hazardous waste incinerator. The thesis describes the basic characteristics of this wastewater, the principles of its treatment, and the properties of the reagents used. The practical section specifically focuses on laboratory verification of the effectiveness of four different reagents: sodium thiosulfate, ABS SF1, Hydrex 6979, and Nalmet 1691. The evaluation was performed based on AAS and XRF analyses. The analyses focused on the removal of heavy metals and the transition of the monitored elements from the liquid to the solid phase. The study also includes an assessment of lime milk dosing, the amount of filter cake produced, and an economic evaluation of the individual reagents. Based on the results obtained, a possible direction for optimizing the wastewater treatment process is proposed.
