Abstract

An aim of this thesis is to chart a gender wage gap in Czech Republic and then also in Visegrad countries, determinate which factors have an influence on its size. In this thesis are not introduced only explicable factors of gender wage differentiation, whether it is from view of theory or empire, but also a discrimination itself, which cannot be explained by these factors. Thesis is coming out then from individual models of decomposition of gender wage gap, where we come out primary from Oaxaca-Blinder decomposition, by their help is described, how is it possible to quantify gender wage gap.
