Měření přenosových vlastností multimediálních služeb na GPON/EPON síti

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the measurement of transmission properties of multimedia services on a passive optical access network. The first part of the theoretical description deals with the passive optical access network with a focus on GPON and EPON technology. The next section describes the individual multimedia services of the triple play package. The practical part is focused on building an experimental workplace for the deployment of triple play services on a passive optical access network with GPON and EPON technology. On these networks, performance parameters are measured according to valid recommendations and transmission properties of deployed services depending on the length of the optical distribution network route and the effect of traffic degradation.
