Vývojové trendy požárních přileb u Hasičského záchranného sboru České republiky

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the development of fire helmets used by the fire brigades of the former Czechoslovakia and the present Czech Republic with regard to the changing and increasing requirements for safety and comfort at work of a professional firefighter. In the first part there is a basic description of the helmet and its properties. The second part contains an overview of the current standards and legislative requirements that helmets must meet when they are placed on the market. The third part is focused on the protective function of the helmet according to the type of intervention. In other parts the thesis deals with the historical development of helmets and currently used helmets. In the last part there is an analysis of changing helmets according to the chosen criteria and on the basis of the results from the questionnaire focused on the satisfaction of intervening firefighters with used helmets sent to the Fire Rescue Service throughout the Czech Republic, a direction for further development of fire helmets was designed.
