Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with the use of bacterial genus Bacillus in industrial and environmental biotechnology. The introductory part concentrates on the morphological and physiological characteristics of bacteria, including the significant enzymatic activity of these microorganisms. The next sections describe the most important strains of this genus, their characteristics, occurrence, pathogenicity and use in industry.
