Abstract
My thesis deals with health insurance of economically active persons. Task of health insurance is to provide financial security for short-term social events. In the theoretical part of the thesis I analyze what ever health insurance is and what benefits health insurance contains. In the practical part I write about the tasks of the Social Security Administration in Ostrava. Finally I made a questionnaire for self-employed persons.
