The theme of this bachelor thesis is an explosion hazard in areas with high dusts and aerosols environment, specifically in grain storage area. The work includes the legal framework of this issue, theoretical definition of combustible dusts, which includes factors affecting explosion parameters of dangerous dusts, description of sources capable to initiating on explosion and the possibility of explosion protection. The practical part gave attention to description of the object under consideration and fire and technical characteristics of materials present in the area. In addition, a risk analysis to identify the most dangerous initial source of potential explosion, followed by a description of the effects and consequences of the explosion. Finally, it was an assessment of existing measures and proposed innovative measures in order to optimize risks.
