Abstract

For purposes of regulation and protection of indirectly measuring equipment transformation of electrical parameters from order higher values to values prescribed in IEC 60044-1 is needed. Current transformers may include measuring, protective, or combined functions. This thesis contains calculation and design of an electrical and magnetical circuit and construction of current transformer for primary nominal current 100 A. Transformer was designed as a busbar, with separate toroidal cores and two secondary windings – measuring and protective. Thesis contains theoretical analysis of issues of current transformation, design of structural materials, numerical solution of electric and magnetic circuit and analysis of temperature fields in conductor cross-section, its isolation and transformer housing.
