Hasicí schopnost přenosných prostředků pro hašení v přírodě

Abstract

The master’s thesis examines the fire-extinguishing capabilities of portable firefighting equipment used for firwfighting with wildfires. The theoretical section describes the current state of knowledge regarding the subject matter, addresses the principles of fire development in natural environments, and describes the influence of topography on wildfires. It further classifies natural fuels, describes meteorological influences and weather conditions, and finally analyzes firefighting tactics for wildfires. The practical section subsequently includes experimental measurements focused on determining the duration of fire suppression operations using a fire beater, a fire fighting knapsack, and a combination of both tools. The evaluation of the experiment is followed by recommendations for the use of individual equipment in firefighting operations.
