Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with design and construction of a prototype of an universal rear LED lighting for an electromobile, using communication with the vehicle control unit via CAN bus. As the individual lamps contain a microprocessor, thus lighting offers options such as change in the intensity of the LED, depending on ambient conditions. First half of this thesis describes the main features of the CAN bus, talks about the requirements of exterior vehicle lighting and about possibilities of implementation of LED lighting. The second half of the work start with the selection of components for the construction of lighting, the background for the manufacture of lamps and describes a program for the microprocessor. Properties of manufactured lighting, such as power consumption and efficiency lamps are described in the end of the thesis.
