Abstract

The subject of this thesis is the analysis and evaluation of the proposed storage options. The aim is to analyze the current state of storage and assess options for future storage solutions leading to rationalize its operations. The first part includes theoretical concepts related to logistics, storage and analysis methods used for storage. In the practical part, the company introduced and solution of storage issue. It describes the current state of storage, from which it is apparent that not meet the requirements of logistics. The method is ABC analysis and time study, which serves as the basis for simulation activities in Excel. Using this simulation are designed variants assessed and compared. In conclusion, it is recommended that the most appropriate option.
