Ivana Mahdalová, Ph.D. The thesis is treated as a technical study for the design of the surface area of the traffic calming. Proposal should contribute to improving the traffic situation in the city and improve the quality of housing and services. The work includes a description and location of the area, a brief history, characteristics and locations of interest overview of the traffic situation. The second part is focused on traffic surveys, accidents and their evaluation. The main concern of this work are drawings designs, specifying the alterations, traffic technical measures corresponding to the current and anticipated prospective land use. For the development of this proposal benefited from these sources: personal on-site investigation, maps and other surveys and analyzes. Work includes 66 pages of text and 14 drawings.
