Abstract

This thesis examines the principles of infrared radiation, splits the different types and examines the influence of infrared radiation on the human body. It also deals with standards which are necessary to manage the development and selection of infrared heating for newborns. The aim is to select the appropriate infrared emitter, which will be used in a infrared heaters for neonatal care, design an electronic circuit for controlling power sources and obtain precise measurements of parameters of the selected sources in the laboratory.
