Abstract

The aim of this master's thesis is the design of a technical solution for the sewerage system of the municipality of Bělá. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes current legislation, characteristics of the area of interest, and general principles of sewer network design, including a description of the materials and structures used. The practical part deals with the proposal of possible variants for wastewater disposal, with an emphasis on a gravity system, and their subsequent technical and economic comparison. Detailed design documentation, including hydraulic calculations and longitudinal profiles, was prepared for the most suitable variant using AutoCAD and AutoPEN software tools. The thesis also includes a basic economic evaluation of the proposed investment.
