Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the design, implementation and testing of a switchgear for industrial use, which is a key element in the electrical systems of industrial applications. The first chapter defines the objectives of the thesis and the structure of the whole thesis. The following second chapter provides a detailed look at the history, characteristics and types of switchgear, including construction requirements and safety standards. The third chapter of the thesis focuses on the design of a specific type of switchgear for a specific application, with a focus on electrical and thermal calculations, which are verified here with Schrack Design software. The fourth chapter describes the technical implementation of the switchgear and the performance of the necessary measurements and tests. The final part of the thesis summarizes the results obtained and suggests directions for future research. The thesis uses a variety of data sources, including documents provided by AG Energocom s.r.o., and presents a complex analysis of the process of design and implementation of a switchboard for industrial use.
