Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with microbiological risks that arise in wastes from the medical sector. The issue, which is divided into three main parts, begins with the characteristics of waste including the legislative framework, followed by a description of pathogenic microorganisms, including their detection and prevention, and ends with appropriate technologies for healthcare waste treatment.
