Využití technologie ZigBee v průmyslových provozech

Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on the relatively new wireless technology - Zigbee. Thesis describes the structure of the communication standard according to the OSI model, compares ZigBee technology according to the standard IEEE 802.15.4 with similar technologies for wireless communications, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or GPRS. Thesis deals with possibilities of using this technology in industrial buildings and with a wide range of applications such as the building management, automation, security systems and wireless communications. The main goal of this thesis is to describe the principles involved and to propose practical solution for heavy industry and mines. The proposal will include the entire network of hardware and software resources. And in the final part of this thesis will be done a simulation of signal in the 2.4 GHz frequency band and communication with ZigBee modules, the results of the simulations will be analyzed and evaluated.
