Abstract

Thesis is, as its name suggest, divided into two parts. In the first, which dealing with the attenuators, is from started discussed the issue of attenuation, its units and calculations. Further is in this part discussed inclusion of attenuators, their dividing and the basic connections. At the next point is described the design, realization and final construction of attenuators in the form, which can be used for measuring purposes in teaching at Vysoká škola Báňská. Finally first part of thesis shows and compares simulated and measured results of attenuators. The second part is dealing with balancing element. In the beginning are described the basic ideas of balanced line, or its history. Further is this part divided into two half, when the first of them is dealing with the passive balancing element. Basic circuits, with which we meet in practise, are described here. Finally is desribed the design of balanced transformer even with final measuring. In the second half are described the active elements, which uses operational amplifiers or current conveyors. Again this thesis shows several types of connections and then describes designs some of them, even with final measuring of made balancing element. At the end of thesis is compared the passive and the active balancing element.
