Optimalizace řízení jednotné bentonitové směsi ve Slévárně Kuřim, a.s.

Abstract

The work is addressed in cooperation with the company Slévárna Kuřim, a.s., on automatic forming line + GF +. The aim of the thesis is to optimize the management of a green sand system according to the size of the model. The main task was to refine the coefficients that are used to control during re-freshing green sand systém with new raw materials according to the methodology. Before the thesis constant ratio of collapsed cores was set up. Modification coefficient of collapsibility were obtained by determination of the real weight of the cores (before the establishment to the forms) of the selected items. The actual collapsibility of cores was found for selected items, by weighing the cores before the establishment to the forms and the weighing of the cores residue after shaking-out. The benefit of this work is to optimize the dosage of individual raw materials into green sand system. Based on the obtained data it is possible to see not only a positive impact on the technological properties of the sand mixture but also on the economical side of the solved problem. Based on the results of this thesis further modification of collapsibility coefficients of cores should be carried out for the rest of the assortment.
