Abstract
Mathematical simulation of pollutant’s dispersion in air is discussed in this thesis. It is divided into several chapters. First, it describes the current knowedges about this subject. The next part deals with the atmosphere – rather the atmospheric boundary layer, the characteristics of natural gas as a pollutant and pollution of the atmosphere itself. Subsequently, the various types of models for mathematical modeling of the pollutant’s dispersion are given. Next, the description of methods for sensitivity analysis and for the comparison of the mathematical modeling results are presented.The next section is devoted to a description of the mathematical modeling software (SYMOS'97, FLUENT, GAMBIT) and Statgraphics program for the implementation of sensitivity analysis and comparison of the results. The description of the modelled area and the problem processing procedure continue. The presentation and interpretation of the results is presented in the last chapters.
