Flotace polymetalických rud se zvýšeným obsahem kovů

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the verification of the amount of zinc in the waste from the mining of polymetallic Cu-Zn ores from the former O3 slime pit in the Zlaté Hory area with regard to the possibility to use the waste as a raw material source. To obtain samples of collective Cu‒Zn concentrate, the method of foam flotation was defined, where the basic factor for comparing the results was choosing the technique of the pH value change for individual floated samples with the same amount of PAX collector. Half of the examined samples were separated with 1,1,2,2-Tetrabromethane, the other half was left in the original composition. To obtain the selective concentrate, the method of copper activation of zinc with CuSO4 in scavenging flotation was chosen.
