Abstract
This dissertation deals with the assessment of possibilities for further use of old or abandoned mine works for energy production and its accumulation. It describes possibilities for production and storage of electric energy and options for using thermal energy. It is designed for deserted mine work – the copper mine Copper, which has conditions for this utilization.
