Analýza přímých zahraničních investic

Abstract

Thesis deals with the Analysis of foreign direct investment. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of FDI of the chosen company from the perspective of an investor using the net present value method. For the practical part of the thesis PLAKOR Czech Ltd. was chosen. The company was founded in 2006 and is located in a strategic industrial zone Ostrava - Mošnov. The thesis consists of five main chapter. After the introduction, the second chapter contains the theoretical background of the issue. In the third chapter current global trends in international investing are examined and the development of foreign direct investment in the Czech Republic is analyzed. The issue of the state support for foreign companies during their entry into the local economy i salso explained. The fourth chapter includes a presentation of selected company PLAKOR Czech Ltd. The key part, then, is the calculation of the evaluation of the effectiveness of FDI from the perspective of an investor. The last chapter of the thesis is the conclusion.
