Vybrané vlastnosti vláknobetonu pro konstrukční návrh

Abstract

This master’s thesis focuses on the mechanical and durability properties of fiber-reinforced concrete for structural applications. The thesis consists of two parts: the first part is theoretical and the second part is experimental. The theoretical part deals with the definition of concrete, its basic properties, and fundamental classification. A significant portion of the theoretical part focuses on the importance of cement in concrete, its composition, and its classification. This section also briefly describes plasticizers, superplasticizers, high-performance concrete, and fiber-reinforced concrete. Lastly, it includes basic information about the steel and polymer fibers used and a chapter on the testing methods employed in the concrete testing. The experimental part focuses on the production and testing of four different concrete mixtures. The mechanical properties tested include compressive strength, flexural tensile strength, and splitting tensile strength. Additionally, durability properties, specifically frost resistance and resistance to chemical de-icing agents, are tested. The workability of individual mixtures is also evaluated.
