Abstract
The bachelor thesis follows up on the influence of invasive species of plants on butterflies. My aim is to observe butterflies that occur in stands of invasive plants and to determine whether the later flowering of these plants affects butterfly diversity and abundance. I carried out my butterfly observations using a non-destructive method at the Eme heap in Ostrava. The theoretical part is composed of research on the issue of butterflies bonding to flowering plants. Then there is an examination of the botanical analysis of mine spoil heap Ema which focuses on invasive plants. We acquaint with lepidopteran research in defined areas and the ecology of diurnal butterfly species which occur there. The results of observed butterflies are categorised as endangered according to the decree 395/1992 Sb.
