Abstract

In the bachelor thesis we tried to take a closer look on Italy during renaissance, it´s papal curia, mainly the genus Borgia and their portrayal in today's media. We have verified the historical fidelity of these works. Further we examined the question of why tehe are still made up works of Borgias nowdays. And especially why are people intrested in this theme. We used the analytical-descriptive method, the historical method and the comparison method to achieve the goal.
