Vlastní environmentální hodnocení podniku TATRA, a.s. Kopřivnice

Abstract

This thesis presents systematic and sequential instructions to carry out an initial review of the situation in the area of environmental care and protection in the Kopřivnice-based TATRA, a.s., company. The purpose was to acquire information and, based on these findings, to describe strengths and weaknesses of the company in order to primarily assess the company’s readiness to implement Environment Management System as per the ČSN EN ISO 14001 standard. The introductory part contains a description of the current environment management system status. This is followed by a proposal stating how the initial review should be carried out. The following chapter includes processing and description of individual results found during carrying out procedures contained in the above proposal. The found results are assessed, analyzed and summarized in the conclusion which also includes proposals established in order to enhance the company’s current environmental care so that the Environment Management System can be implemented and subsequently certified as soon as possible.
