Úloha osvěty a vzdělávání veřejnosti při optimalizaci nakládání s odpady

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the role of public awareness and education in the optimization of waste management. The aim of the thesis is, based on the study of professional literature, conceptual documents and a questionnaire survey, to analyse the current level of public awareness and the approach of inhabitants to waste sorting in a selected city. The thesis first defines the theoretical and legislative framework of waste management, followed by an analysis of the waste management system and implemented awareness-raising activities. Based on the findings, specific measures are proposed to increase the effectiveness of public awareness and education. The thesis highlights the importance of environmental literacy as a factor influencing the efficiency of the waste management system.
