Restaurace "U Dvora" v Hýlově

Abstract

The assignment of this thesis was the design of new restaurants in the territory Hýlov, part of Klimkovice in Ostrava-city. It is a single-storey building. The building is functionally divided into public spaces and spaces for employees. During the design was také into consideration orientation towards the cardinal points. Spaces for guest is focused on the south and has a glass facade. Spaces for employees of the restaurant is located to the north, this part has brick siding.

The emphasis was on simplicity and legibility of construction with quality materials. Design of the building is a combination of reinforced concrete frame and brick system Porotherm. The goal was to create a comfortable place to eating.
