Testování open source Ligthweight IP v prostředí IPv6

Abstract

The bachelor thesis describes testing of the lwIP open source TCP/IP stack behavior in the environment of internet protocol version 6. Text covers the design and implementation of the testing environment utilizing TAHI Project software tools, the design and implementation of the lwIP based application under test, probing of the stack using the IPv6 Ready consortium’s test cases and documents the degree of conformance with IPv6 core protocols. The application under test is deployed to the FRDM-K64F development board produced by NXP Semiconductors company. The board contains Kinetis K64F microcontroller of a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4F architecture. Testing system is connected to the board using ethernet cable for the simulation of the IPv6 traffic and judges the response of lwIP stack running inside the board.
