Zhodnocení managementu vybraných ústředních orgánů státní správy

Abstract

This diploma thesis presents an assessment of the management of select central state administrative bodies and their use of modern management methods. The theoretical part defines public administration, its responsibilities and organization. At the same time, the theoretical part of the work deals with the management of public administration with regard to its specific nature compared to the private sector and individual methods of modern management. The practical part defines the current state of specifically selected central state administrative bodies in terms of their use of modern management approaches. The work is based on an analysis of management and the use of modern management methods at two select state administrative bodies and their subsequent comparison. Based on the analytical results obtained, certain conceptual proposals for future improvement are presented in conclusion.
