Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with different types of payment systems used on the Internet which are available to ordinary costumers. In the first chapter, the options available for payment of goods and services on the Internet are described from the development of communication routes to electronic networking relationships. Next, an overview of remote banking access and practical use of electronic cash and credit cards is underlined. In the second chapter different payment systems are described. The technical realization, security and payment gateways, various domestic and foreign payment systems are described in more details. In the next section the creation of an account abroad is outlined, especially in the English-communicating system. Finally, the current situation of the population attitude to the adoption of new payment systems, which are generally unknown by the public, is evaluated.
