Abstract

Thesis is divided into two main parts : Theoretical and practical The subject of the theoretical part of the thesis is to analyze the site Vidnava city, especially its symbolic structures, analyze the information obtained and defining the possibilities of city development, the strengthening of identity and the creation of new cultural space. This paper also deals with linking the area of seminary with the city center. In practical part will be designed solution of adaptation existing complex of the seminary to the security prison with department for imprisonment under supervision. The main aim of this thesis will be to create an environment for the execution of the sentence which will be respectful for human dignity and will reflect humanistic principles of current prison system, but also will point out their possible development.This will manifest itself in the assimilation of the prison environment to the real life environment outside the walls. It's about forming the environment for narrow groups of people living in the "city" behind the walls by providing space for self-reliance and self-realization. This system may have re-socialization effects which facilitates the adaptation of people returning to society. Another aim will be sensitive adaptation of existing buildings by preserving the original image of complex to the city and elimination of the negative impression of the new functional utilization.
