Abstract

The thesis is focused on analyzing the risks and needs of the municipality protectinng the population and preparing for the exceptional incidents or declared states of emergency. The diploma thesis describes the status, tasks and opportunities of the Association of volunteer firefighters and PO SDH protecting the population and helping citizens. Further suggests the possibility of using PO SDH and Association and volunteer firefighters protection of the population of the municipality. In conclusion of the diploma thesis is a model for volunteer groups from among mostly SDH who are not members of municipality PO SDH and their target is own usage and ability to engage in activities related to the protection of the population.
