Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on employee motivation and employee benefits. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether employee benefits are one of the motivating factors. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The main points of the work include motivational theories, employee benefits and research methodology, including the analysis of the research results themselves. Based on these results, recommendations were determined, which are summarized in the conclusion. During the Covid-19 pandemic, online research method was used to obtain data using the established and widely used web portal vyplňto.cz. Statistical analysis methods using graphical representations and among other things, second-level classification will be used to analyze the results of the questionnaire survey. Respondents regard employee benefits like the main factors that motivating them at work. In the bachelor thesis is a discrepancy between the provided and preferred form of benefits. Employees are provided with a predominantly fixed form, and research has shown that they prefer a different form. Research has shown that some companies have responded flexibly to the coronavirus pandemic and the inability to reap some benefits.
