Optimalizace parametrů těženého uhlí z DNT pro zajištění stabilního provozu ETU II.

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with current lignite extraction in the open-pit mines Doly Nástup Tušimice, and the connection of the coal parameters and its use as fuel for the nearby power plant Tušimice II. For correct functioning of a power plant it is necessary to ensure stable quality of supplied raw material – lignite, including balanced heating value, and sulphur and ash contents. For the mining company to reach required values is more and more difficult as the extraction continues on, the production is influenced by great variability of qualitative parameters of the coal seam and the prediction of parameters gets more difficult. That is the reason for modification of different quality coal in the process of homogenization to adjust it to final parameters demanded by the final client. Homogenization has a positive effect on quality indicators of the mine coal production, as well as a positive impact on the balance of recoverable resources and therefore on the company economic benefit.
