Abstract

This text is mainly interested in expanding knowledge in the field of telecommunications. It describes the total allocated optical networks and the architecture of passive networks and their possible variants. In addition it includes information about the use and characteristics of passive optical components like as optical connectors, optical fibers and the like. It also focuses on possible ways to measure the slump of passive optical components. The final part includes the overall processing of fiber attenuation measurements dividers along with the evaluation of the measured results.
