Abstract

This bachelor thesis tracks changes in the position of creditor debt relief in recent years. It describes the basic division of creditors and the principle of debt relief, including its advantages and disadvantages. The next section defines the rights and obligations of creditors, including recommended guidelines that you should follow the lender that his position was most advantageous. Bachelor thesis compares the advantages and disadvantages of the Czech and Slovak debt relief. Practical part of the analysis, which follows the development lender positions on two selected samples of borrowers. The result of the research is the progressive reductions satisfy the claims of creditors because of the deteriorating economic situation and proposes measures to strengthen the position of creditors.
