Řešení černých skládek města Říčany

Abstract

The diploma thesis was focused on sovling the problem of illegal dumps in vicinity of the city of Říčany, by conducting terrain investigation and interviews with the goal of finding systematic tools for lowering the amount of illegal dumps and catching more culprits of illegal dumping. First part of the research was focused on terrain investigation, during which 16 illegal dumps were found. The most commonly found materials were plastic(11,76%), communal waste(10,29%), rubber tires and textiles(8,82%). Clues to possible identification of the culprit were also documented. Second part of the resarch revolved around interviews with representatives of instiutions, which handle the problem of illegal dumps in vicinity of the city. After consulting the data gathered during the interviews, it became apparent that the number od Dumps is single digit or a few dozens at most per year. The institutions do not use a single system of information, can not effectivly share information among themselves and cooperate, which lowers the efficiency of identifying culprits of illegal dumping and makes the possibility of a single case being investigated by multiple institutions at the same time. The interviews and investigation of the terrain shows that the city of Říčany has a well established system of [zpětného odběru separovaného odpadu], which is almost entirely absent on illegal dumps, this shows the need a of search for effective tools in the area of categorizing and sorting waste, which is not needed only when a civic amenity site is used.
