Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with a comprehensive analysis of the futnet tournament Poruba!!! Open, specifically the 2023 year. The practical part deals with the historical development, detailed description of the selected event, analysis of the activities necessary for its organization, methods of raising funds and their use and identification of shortcomings. To ensure the objective, due to its own presence, the method of observation, an interview with the main organizer of the tournament and a SWOT analysis were used to describe the strengths and weaknesses of the tournament, its opportunities and threats. Thanks to these methods, it was possible to describe the main importance of the event, the historical development and detailed description of the selected edition, the analysis of the activities necessary for the organization of the tournament, the ways of fundraising and their use. Based on the methods used, recommendations were described that would help the tournament for its improvement and development. The work should be beneficial not only to the organizers of Poruba!!! Open, but also to all organizers of similar events.
