Abstract

he topic of the bachelor thesis is the design of technology and implementation of surface treatment of wood and wood-fibre materials with the aim of making a surface treatment design, the topic focuses on the surface treatment of the visual part of the processed material. In the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on the description of wood and wood-based materials, its structure and properties, wood moisture, wood defects, manual and machine processing followed by surface treatment. In the practical part, the procedure of the layout of the steps up to the actual surface treatment is described. The individual steps and the subsequent change in the surface treatment process that led to the successful surface treatment of the material were described.
