Abstract

This thesis deals with analysis of national sports legislation, funding of sports in the Czech Republic and funding of sports in the Frýdlant nad Ostravicí. The first section of the thesis deals with the relation of law to sport and sports rules in general. The second section of my thesis focuses on the national sports legislation - de lega lata a de lege ferenda. The third section deals with funding of sports from public resources and from private resources. The finally practical part analysis funding of sports organizations in the Frýdlant nad Ostravicí.
