Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the design of control system for hydraulic drives. Single-board embedded microcomputer Athena II SBC from Diamond Systems was chosen as a control system suitable to locate in difficult industrial conditions. The control system was used for control of a band saw for metal cutting. The Hardware in the Loop simulation was used for design and verification of control algorithm. The mathematical model, including a cutting, was necessary for this method. The control algorithm was validated in laboratory conditions with a goal to maximal coincidence of the constructed hydraulic circuit with a real circuit of a band saw for metal cutting.
