Automatizační aplikace pro Philips Hue

Abstract

The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to integrate external data into the Philips Hue smart lighting system, thus enabling automated lighting activation based on specific scenarios using technologies such as Node.js, React, and JSON. The first part of the thesis focuses on the device portfolio along with the Philips Hue ecosystem and technologies that enable data processing from external sources. The second part describes the development of automation rules, selection of suitable program- ming languages, frameworks, and libraries to create an application with a web interface. At the end of the second chapter, problems with the Philips Hue platform that may be encountered during application development are also discussed. The third, practical part of the thesis explains the implementation of these technologies in the developed application. The fourth chapter then demonstrates a sample function of one scenario and an analysis of the results achieved and the potential further expansion of the work. In conclusion, the thesis presents an evaluation of the development and automation and the efficiency of the Philips Hue system.
