Negativní vliv BTEX na životní prostředí

Abstract

The present work refers to issues of monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the environment. Elaborated in detail are their general properties, behavior, migration and degradation in the environment. Another point is the summary of the international conventions and Czech legislative provisions which deal with BTEX substances. There is also a compendium of limiting concentrations, which may be present in various matrices. Last but not the least important point focuses on the determination of BTEX compounds by gas chromatography. Details of the procedure, the choice of components and condicions for the analysis of soil, water and air are provided.
