Finanční analýza společnosti Severočeské doly a.s.

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with complex processing of financial analysis of Severočeské doly, a.s. and draws on publicly available annual report statements, including balance sheet, income statement. The introduction will describe the theoretical part, which characterizes financial indicators and methods applied to the practical part. Indicators and methods were chosen such as horizontal and vertical analysis, financial ratios, bankruptcy models and crediworthy model and Du pont pyramidal decomposition. The first part of the thesis includes the analyzed company, its characteristics, business and its activities. The following practical part shows the results. The aim of this work is to prepare a comprehensive evaluation of the financial situation of the analyzed company for the monitored five-year period 2013-2017 by applying financial indicators, methods and interpreting the calculated results in tabular and graphical views.
