Abstract

The purpose of this dissertation work is to design a control unit for reversible DC/DC converter. This control unit must be able to operate at higher switching frequencies of tens of kHz. It must be designed so that it can perform complicated calculations, process signals from analog surrounding and it must also ensure communication with the superior system for diagnostics or controlling. An essential part of the control unit is implementation of the control algorithm for a certain type of converter. In my case it is a reversible DC/DC converter which transfers energy in either direction. Aim of this thesis is to verify the functionality of the control algorithm implemented on a sample of reversible DC/DC converter.
