Abstract
In this work the stability and viscosity of suspensions has been studied. It was used samples of TiO2 PK180, TiO2 PK60 at concentrations in range of 5 – 20 vol. % and at different pH. The stability of suspensions was assessed on the basis of zeta potential measurement. The izoelectric points was determined. In this value of pH, the suspension is least stable. From the zeta potential measurement is clear that suspensions are unstable at range of acid pH and with increasing pH increases its stability. Viscosity of suspensions was measured on rheometer RheoStress RS100 with the equilibrium step – test of shear stress. The flow curves represent consistence of the suspensions. The highest consistence have suspensions with concentration of 20 vol. % and acid pH.
