Abstract
This thesis describes the basic characteristics of the Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), operating setting of parameters prior to the commencement of ground measurements with regard to possible limitations and applications of GPR. The work ends with the evaluation of my own measurements on a test section in Tišnov and a section in Staré Město u Uherského Hradiště.
