Abstract

The thesis on “The Analysis of Heavy Hoisting and Handling Machinery Exploitation Efficiency in the Secondary Raw-material Plant of the Třinec Iron and Steelworks“ gives solutions of how to utilize the heavy machinery efficiently in the course of metallurgical processing of wastes. In the theoretical part, the problems of tangible investment goods as a production facility in relation to the costs and investments are presented there. The practical part gives the detailed analysis of financial costs and their impacts on the plant’s cash-flow operations. In the conclusion, effective solution is recommended, the contribution of which should rest in saving costs and increasing the plant’s production volumes.
